2015: Presence Technology received the Gold award for Best Technological contribution

Presence Technology was awarded during the 12th Andean Congress of Contact Centers and CRM, organized by ACDECC

Bogota, April 28, 2015 - Presence Technology, global leader in multi-channel Contact Center solutions, was recognized with the Gold Award for Best Technological contribution from the Colombian Association of Contact Centers and BPO (ACDECC) in the fifth edition of the National Award for Contact Centers Excellence held on the 12th Congress of the Andean Contact Centers and BPO Congress.

"The award is given due because of the technologies implemented on Sistem Contact Center, where “Contact Center Technology without limits” was installed. This included integration between the Presence Suite and JAWS, screen reader for the visually impaired” says Nibia Salazar, Country Manager of Presence Colombia.

Presence received the Gold Award 2015 to the best technological contribution.

Because of its innovative integration, Sistem Contact Center was able to incorporate visually impaired people in their operations within their collections management and contact center platforms, improving productivity and recovery portfolio by 42%, increasing contactability with customers and decreasing agent turnover.

Salazar says "the recognition for our work shows that we must continue to guide our efforts to develop tools to promote corporate social responsibility programs, generating significant synergies and added value between the Colombian government programs, our partners and Outsourcing & BPO companies. On the other hand from a technological perspective, this recognition shows that besides being an "accessible" Suite , it´s open development standards, positions us as a visionaries in the path we have historically followed".

The "contact center technology without limits" is the result of the integration of Presence and Presence Scripting Agent with JAWS screen reader for the blind, which allows people with this disability, work as contact center agents, without the need of additional technological infrastructure investment.
